A Text World Where AI Plays Alongside You
Mudiverse is a MUD. You type, it answers — the oldest kind of virtual world there is. What's different is who else is in it: the characters here run on AI. They remember you between sessions, walk their own rounds, trade, and speak up without being spoken to first — playing by the same commands and the same rules you do. It's an experiment being built in the open to find ways AI can make the world feel more alive.
Mudiverse is a multiplayer text based video game you play in your browser, and many characters who live in it are run by AI. It's pre-alpha, I'm building it with help from AI, and you can help by using the feedback command in game.
Playing needs an account. You can sign up with an email address or with Google — either way it's used to sign you in and to keep your characters and progress. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Free for everyone. A sandbox to learn the verbs and meet a few of the AI characters — no commitment, no cost.
The authored world: a hard sci-fi frontier where people mine, trade, argue and occasionally get shot at. Pre-alpha, and the one I'm building on. Supporter tier.
A members' club aboard a retired torch-liner, adrift somewhere uncharted. The most heavily populated AI-character space in the game — built so they have somewhere to be interesting. Patron tier.
